What Do I Believe In?

It's a question I've asked myself many times. Perhaps it's even a question I could devote my life to finding answers to.

I believe in humanity—not just as a concept, but as something truly admirable. I am amazed at how, in all the tragedy that surrounds us, humanity still finds goodness and love.

I believe in enlightenment and education. I firmly believe that what can change us for the better, and make us truly free, is education. Free from prejudice, free from the poison of propaganda, and free from malice.

I believe in love. Perhaps that sounds sentimental, but I do believe in it—not just in a narrow sense, but in the broadest sense possible. From love for an individual person to love for this beautiful blue ball we call the world.

I believe in freedom and the human right to a decent life. I also believe in the right of each person to make their own choices.

I believe that one person can make a difference.

I also believe that the ability to create is the most beautiful gift nature has given us. While I absolutely admire culture, I think that true greatness lies not just in the creation itself, but in the fact that it was created by humans.

I believe in many other things, and I will share them with you on my blog.
